Tuition and Financial Aid

Your graduate degree from the Heider College of Business is one of the most important investments you’ll ever make. It will help you reach your career goals, whether that’s advancing in your current organization or changing career paths altogether.

To help cover the cost of your graduate education, we encourage you to apply for financial assistance. If you have been fully admitted to the graduate business program, you may apply for two types of financial aid awarded through the Heider College of Business: graduate assistantship (GA) and Tuition Waiver.

GA positions require you to be enrolled full-time (nine credit hours) each fall and spring term and to work 20 hours per week doing research and projects for faculty. In exchange, you received 18 hours of graduate tuition per year and a monthly stipend for eight months. You may hold a GA position for a maximum of two years.

If you’re a part-time student, you may apply for a tuition waiver to cover half of the cost of tuition for one graduate business class. You’re eligible to receive a maximum of two tuition waivers during the course of your degree program.

GA positions and tuition waivers are only available during the fall and spring terms. To be considered for either type of financial assistance, you must submit a resume and complete a financial assistance application eform.

You may also apply for loans for graduate students. Visit the Financial Aid office website for more information.
