IEI Presents: Against Democracy
IEI Presents: Against Democracy
Thursday, March 23, 2017 - 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Most people believe democracy is a uniquely just form of government. They believe people have the right to an equal share of political power. These are some of our most cherished ideas about democracy. But, Jason Brennan, professor at Georgetown University says, they are all wrong.

Against DemocracyIn his trenchant book, Brennan argues that democracy should  be judged by its results–and  the results are not good enough.

Jason will be coming to the Heider College of Business in on March 23rd to give a talk on his book from 4-5pm in Harper 3028. Join us for a poignant discussion and unique opportunity to discuss democracy from a critical standpoint.

Presented by the Institute for Economic Inquiry.
