Discover South Africa: Business, Culture, and Sights
Come join us on a once-in-a-lifetime faculty-led travel course to South Africa! We will visit the cities of Johannesburg, Cape Town, and the capital city of Pretoria. The trip will be a mix of company visits, cultural experiences, and tourist activities. You will have the opportunity to visit companies and interact with executives and workers and learn about the leading role South Africa is playing not only in Africa but also in the global economy. Visits are also planned to a number of cultural and historical venues in each city, including a safari/game drive, Robben Island, Soweto, and Table Mountain. Overall, this course provides a unique and exciting opportunity to learn about business in South Africa and experience the vibrancy of its people and culture. To op
timize your travel experience, you will attend a number of class meetings held before the trip to study economical, cultural, and political issues of South Africa.
Course Dates: May 17, 2015 to May 30, 2015
Course Credit Hours: Course can be taken for three credit hours of graduate (MBA 779) or undergraduate (BUS 479) credit. Course also meets College of Business International Business requirements.
Cost: $5,700 (includes tuition, travel, hotel, and some meals)

Application Deadline: December 5th, 2014 on a first-come, first serve basis. The course is limited to fifteen (15) students.

- Submit the completed, printed application form return by December 5th, 2014.
