MBA/Professional Science Masters (PSM) Degree in Bioscience Management Dual Program

Overview

The MBA/PSM program allows students to combine the business focus provided by the MBA degree with the bioscience management thrust of the PSM degree in settings such as university and private research institutions, agribusiness, the pharmaceutical industry, venture capital and investment firms, technology commercialization organizations, and health care sectors, including the medical professions, health insurance, and hospital administration. Law firms are increasingly seeking professionals who specialize in intellectual property and other health-related areas.

The PSM program is a 15-month, executive weekend style cohort program costing $42,000. PSM students will be assessed the Graduate School tuition rate for all MBA courses taken. MBA/PSM students may take a maximum of 12 total graduate credit hours in the fall and spring terms and nine total graduate credits in the summer.

Plan of Study

MBA Core (3 credit hours)

All MBA/PSM studets will complete the business ethics course that addresses business processes and skills fundamental to Creighton's Jesuit and value-based mission.

Students who hold an undergraduate business degree or have extensive business experience will complete the five courses listed below instead of the MBA Functional Core:
