Tim P. McMahon is an accomplished marketing communications executive. In his distinguished career he was the founding director of marketing for Godfather's Pizza when it was named fastest growing restaurant chain in the country for three years running, he was head of advertising for a Pizza Hut, Inc. during its turnaround, was founder and president of an award-winning advertising and public relations firm for more than a decade, and was svp-corporate marketing and communication at ConAgra Foods, Inc., at the time a $26-billion Fortune 100 company.
He has founded, owned and operated businesses, including radio stations and restaurants. He has demonstrated success in innovation, social media and marketing having won awards and created sustainable growth in large-scale multinationals and small businesses alike using effective strategy and cutting edge technology. He has published academic papers on leadership, new media and distance learning and has presented at international academic conferences.
He currently is an associate professor teaching leadership, marketing and social media at Creighton University College of Business Administration. He has conducted seminars for professionals in the practice of integrating social and traditional media, marketing strategy and organizational effectiveness; and is a judge for PRSA Silver Anvil and Bateman Awards.
He holds a Bachelors from University of Nebraska-Omaha, a MA from Seton Hall University, and a PhD from Gonzaga University. He teaches marketing and management in the undergraduate and MBA programs at Creighton University College of Business Administration.
Tim is married to Debra (Monaco) McMahon and they have three adult children and a boxer named Sugar Rae.
